what are the dns servers form hostmonster, with the ip with it?
thanks in advance
ns1.hostmonster.com - 74.220.195.131
ns2.hostmonster.com - 69.89.16.8
Probably a bit dangerous to use IP address though as this is probably subject to change...

are these ip's also for parked domains?
I believe all domains that are hosted by Hostmonster should be using those two nameservers... (i.e. yes - I think)

I just joined Hostmonster to host my site. i already have a domain name registered somewhere else..
if i understand this correctly, i need to change the DNS on my domain from what it is now to :ns1.hostmonster.com, ns2.hostmonster.com... correct?
then ill be good?
im sure this was all covered in the initial e-mail i recieved when i joined but, of course, im an idiot and cant find it :(
That's correct - remember though it'll take 24-48 hours (or possibly less depending on server configs) to migrate through all DNS servers so it may not be visible straight away.

You should also not forget to go through the process to ADDING the domain to your HM account through CPanel. Search the forms here and you will find a great tutorial on how to transfer an existing domain with not downtime.
