I've been testing PHPList and found an unusual result. Users on Earthlink will identify the posting from PHPList as SPAM. Yahoo works fine.
I've tried turning on the SMTP authentication feature, but to no avail. The headers actually look the same for messages sent with and without the change in config.php.
Sending mail to Earthlink from the addressed used by PHPList (based on the headers) gets past the spam wall. There are differences in the headers between PHPList sent mail and directly sent mail. Earthlink is not forthcoming with telling me why this is identified as spam.
Any clues out there?
Thanks,
Bill
