Addon/Parked Domain - Possible but How ?

I just would like to clear out some doubt's I have about "Domains".

I have a HM account with the Free Domain (main). I would like now to purchase a new domain and adding it to my existing account.

- Can I buy at GoDaddy a domain and use it at HM ? Renewal fee after 12 month at GoDaddy or HM ?
- Will this be a "Addon Domain" ? I think this doesn't have any additional costs.
- Can I share all my account resources with that new Domain, or does this domain has 0 resources and is just there with some HTML pages in it ?
- Will this URL be absolutely independent from my main domain, although controlled over the same cPanel ?
- Some help available how to transfer this domain to the server. I have no clue how to do this.

-Yes. Point to ns1.hostmonster.com and ns2.hostmonster.com. Renew at godaddy.
-Add-on domain, yes. No extra costs

-Yes. The add-on domain will also be a sub-domain of the main domain.
-No need to transfer the domain. Just point to HM nameservers above.
