Dear HM Forum Members. In fact I don't know if this is allowed (RDM, delete post if not) but I would like your Help to get some Feedback about my Website (where else I can ask this).
Please spend some minutes and go to
http://www.bonus-webhosting.com and additional pages
to take a look at the Websites and send me your honest opinion about overall look and content.
Positive responses as well acceptet.
Thank you all helping me with this to improve my "fist website".

To be honest it is far too cluttered. It is also a very large page, so not only do people have to wade through the mass of information, they have to scroll through loads of it to reach the end.
I think you would improve the site if you organized it better and split related information into separate, relevant pages. That way people can jump to the information they want and find it quickly on the page.
EDIT: You also have a lot of spelling errors. Something as small as that can really put people off your webpage.
I don't mean to sound overly critical, but you did ask! :)

Many thanks SiriusB
It's exactly what I ask for. Just over such Info's I can improve. I Spell check over the Google browser bar and thought that all was OK. Perhaps this tool does not correct all what it should. My Word editor is not working.
Thanks

Hi,
It sounds like English is not your primary language because of some of the spelling and grammatical errors in your web page. It's as though it were written in another language and translated by one of the online language translators, which never seem to do a great job. I went through the first couple of paragraphs and found these items that need attention; but there are many, many more in the next paragraphs.
"Bookmark this page, for sure you like to come back here!" should be "Bookmark this page. You'll want to come back here!"
"company's" should be "companies"
"and besides this turn your Hosting sign up as valuable as possible" sounds like it was translated by one of the online language translators; I'm not sure what this means.
"planer" should be "planner"
"host's" should be "hosts"
"Your hosting sign up get finally additional value" should say something like "When you sign up with these hosts, you get additional value"
"informations" should be "information"
"e-book's" should be "e-books"
"planer" should be "planner"
"tell's" should be "tells"
"our domain name tell's it already" should say something like "our domain name says it all"
"12 month" should be "12 months"
"secret's" should be "secrets"
"12 month" should be "12 months"
"his" should be "their" (plural)
"thems" should be "them"
"send" should be "sent"
I would be a little skeptical about signing up through this web site, as it sounds like a foreign operation, and I try to avoid these whenever possible due to language and support problems.
I hope this helps.

the public users dont have permission to view the site. Prehaps you could talk to live chat and figure out how to change those permissions :) if not
respond to my emails and attach a image file to the email and i can do it that way.

Bob, sorry for not responding earlier. Wow, you really got deep into it, many thanks for this.
I am European and in fact never had any lessons in English, that's why my Website has so many errors. BUT Thanks to give me those hints for that I can correct all asap. You are right, visitors must feel secure on a Website, no doubht about this.
You perhaps know any services who do proofread Websites for people like me ?
Again many thanks

Hi:
I logged in to make sure I was getting the correct site. There is a lot of overlapping copy. I'm using IE6 which is one of the most ordinary browsers I think. There is a way to check your code with w3c to see if it works on all browsers (most anyways). I hope thats helpful.
I struggled with the pagewizard which is a bad way to learn how to build a website. Simple html is easy to learn, but then you have to learn xml and xhtml and then CSS ( which is a wonderful thing once you memorize it ). In the meantime you can hire somone on Get A Freelancer to look over your website and make professional suggestions. I'm sure it will work out for you with time and a little help.
I always wonder what the product is that makes money for ppl on an instant website. Is it always ebooks? Just curious.
I hope you really wanted honest criticism and by the way I'm in the learning stage - definitely no expert by any stretch.
:D

Hy Jeana
When I first made my pages in Pwiz all looked OK (before publishing). After published I go and open the pages over IE, what a mess. Overlaps, alignment didn't fetch and.. and.. and.., But I get to fix it for that it looked good in my IE and Firefox.
Now you are telling me that pages look different in your browser ? How this can be possible ? Sorry for being an ignorant but I thought that a Website looks the same in one type of browser. I am a total Newbie in in Website building and all that stuff but I am getting crazy with all the details that don't work. Thanks for answering.

When I build a site, I test it in Opera, Firefox and IE7. Firefox and Opera often display almost the same, but IE is out in another galaxy somewhere. IMO, Opera appears to be the most standards-compliant browser available. Though not 100% compliant, it appears to display things most accurately.
I recommend downloading the latest version of all 3 browsers. Test your websites with all of them, and edit accordingly. There are ways to make your websites display acceptably in all 3 browsers, though never exactly the same.

I like the overall layout. (a little too cluttered but the layout is nice) The only issue I have is that it is aligned to the left instead of centered. It looks like it is build for a standard screen size 800X600 which is fine but you want to center the site imo so people browsing with higher screen resolutions don't see a giant block of white on the right side of the screen.
Best of luck.

I tried installing Safari when it was released for beta testing, but it isn't compatible with Windows XP x64. :(

Thanks for answer hotdesignz.
I will try to find some design in between the actual and a new, simpler version.
I am really a Newbie when it comes to Website design, so could you explain in a few steps how I make it that the page will be centered in a higher resolution. When I designed the page (with Pagewizard) my resolution was in fact 800x600, but I had no idea that this will influence the final result viewed in a browser.
I don't remember to see any area where I could define the resolution and if page will be centered.
Thanks again

I am truly not sure about page wizard. The program I use has a button to center the site and one for relative horizontal positioning. I would suggest looking in page wizard for something along those lines, or better yet spend a few bucks on a program. For a beginner I would recommend Coffee Cup HTML editor (http://www.coffeecup.com/) or my personal favorite IMS SiteSpinner (http://www.virtualmechanics.com/products/spinner/index.html)
Both have free trials so you can check them out before you buy them. Like I said Sitespinner is my favorite program its easy to use but also has lots of features
