Greetings,

I enabled SpamAssassin last Friday and immediately 98% of the spam I was getting stopped (happy days!). I've also enabled the "Spam Box" feature and am wondering if this folder is something I have access to—in order to check if any of my emails are being flagged as spam that shouldn't be. I can't find any "spam" folder in my web-mail apps or any where else. I just want to make sure the spam flagging is accurate. I have disabled the "auto-delete spam" feature, so the emails must be gathering somewhere.

Thanks.

From what I've read, the Spam folder isn't created until the account receives its first spam message. There was a website with a video on how to set it up and showing how it works, but I've since lost the link.

If you try to send yourself a test "spam" message, you should be able to see the way it works.

With some email apps you'll probably need to "subscribe" to the new folder. How you do this will depend on the app but will most likely be under some kind of options menu...
