Hi All,
I'm new to the forums, but have been reading them trying to find a solution to my problem. I have a addon domain that was created for a client, which was added with his knowledge to my domain, and I have put up email addresses for contacts, so he can run his business.
My questions are as follows:
They do not want to be receiving email from the site into their personal email programs, such as outlook, and would like it to remain on the web. Do I need to create email folders for each in the folder that contains all of their data, ie. public_html folder so they can have access to and keep the business email on the server itself? I would think that a mail folder could/should be in place on the server to be able to conduct business completely on the web and not have to download it to say a personal laptop.
My second issue is this: I cannot seem to even access their email accounts without going through my c-panel. Surely there must be a way that they can access the email accounts I have set up for them, without having to go through my c-panel. Isn't there a way to get to a different domain email account without having to actually have them go through my main domain?
It doesn't make sense that if you can host unlimited domains, they all have to have your user access and password in order to get to their domain mail accounts. I mean, some may not like having to go through, say tonysfishing.com in order to access carstereos.com that is another domain on a shared server.
My business is completely separate from theirs, and I don't like the idea of them having to login in to the web under my business just so they can get to the webmail. That affords them access to things I don't want tampered with.
Thank you.
