Can't get domain e-mail forwarded to gmail!! Help!

Ok, so the e-mail client I use for my hostmonster website is Horde, but whatever I try, I cannot get the e-mails coming into Horde to be forwarded to my gmail account.

What I have tried so far:

In my gmail settings, I added my domain account to be forwarded to gmail.
So in essence, I told gmail that all mail that goes into "mail@comfortkyle.com" should go into my gmail account. I added all the right info and gmail believes it got connected to the server, but alas, all e-mail that goes into "mail@comfortkyle.com" does not go into gmail (no forwarding occurs).

Then in the control panel of hostmonster, I said that all mail going to my domain should be redirected to my gmail account. No luck, nothing happens.

What I did manage to do is set my gmail account to send mail as "mail@comfortkyle.com", but I still cannot retrieve mail from this address.


So, how do I get my domain address to forward e-mails to my gmail account?
I'm pulling my hair out here!!!

can it be delivery delay?

try to send from email client, will show you error of delivery if any.

I don't believe it works that way... I have the forwarding setup and it works fine like this:

I use Roundcube on my main domain and prefer it over gmail and other email clients.

I use user1@domain1.com and then I have domain2.com forwarded to domain1.com. So anything sent to user1@domain2.com it automatically goes to user1@domain1.com.

hmm... i can't get it to forward to gmail either. all my domains hosted in different sites all have mail forwarded to my gmail, but hostmoster's forwarding emails don't seem to work at all. anybody figured this out yet?

okay i can now download the email from hostmoster to gmail: make another account in gmail settings, then just take advantage of the POP3 of your domain.
