you can directly install through cpanel > fantastico > image gallery > Coppermine Photo Gallery

Check out the getting started guide. (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#getting) It will guide you through all the steps to create categories, and upload pictures.

I am okay with uploading photos etc and it has been installed - and it shows in the images album in the file manager. But would I need to link photos to the actual gallery for people to look at?
