failed to change file permission!

hi. Its weird. I installing phpld manually today, and the site is successfully installed. When i login to admin area, it keep showing me

please drop writing permissions for include/config.php file immediately!

i ftp in to change the file property, and even the folder property. Removing all write permission. It just don't works. it will auto change back to previous setting.

And furthermore is sure that the write is not granted to group and public user.
Why am i keep getting the error. And why the permission keep changing back to previous setting, even i changed it :( :(

If you are going to change the file permission to 400 or 444 as recommended by phpLD, the only way I know how to do this through cPanel's file manager. Your ftp program will NOT work for this. Good luck.
