I want to set up an email address that will 'distribute' to about 10 other addresses. Sort of an automatic forward but one that forwards to 10 or so, rather than one single recipient.
That way people can send a message to executive@myclub.org and it will go out to the whole group.
I can't see how to achieve that using cPanel. If not with cPanel, can I make it happen via php without going to the trouble of setting up a mailing list program. Maybe this IS a mailing list and that's what I've got to do.
Thanks for any input.

You might try entering multiple addresses in the cpanel/email forwarders. It seems to work for me, but I only used 2 different addresses (using a comma separator). I don't know if there is a limit on the number of addresses you can use. When it lists the forwarders, it lists each "to" address as a separate forward...

i think this is more to a 'subscriber' list... and 1 email will be sent to all of the 'subscriber' in the list. so in future, you just maintain this list.
refer to the tool "mailman" for the purposes.

Thanks New Kid. That works nicely and I can verify that it took a list of ten email addresses and since I put myself near the end of the list I can see that it seems to work. Editing will be a pain though so I'm going to look also at mailman as suggested by charlesegan
