Is it possible to get rid of the hm logo? The hostmonster one.. Its annoying me being there in the tab on firefox.. How do I remove it? Thats if its possible..

It's called a favicon, and it's actually there for a reason. (Generates extra entries in the error logs if a favicon file isn't found). Do a search here using favicon as your search term. You'll find lots of entries on how to remove the need for the favicon (avoid the error), creating your own favicon etc.

I initially thought it was just annoying advertising until I found the relevant information.

Hey Guys,

I am on a MAC in SAFARI browser.

the Hm favicon will not go away. I have replaced the favicon on the server. Still no show and I have dropped the coding into my <head> </head> tags.

WHat gives??
I tried 16X16. ANd most of the editors I use auto it at size 16X16- I made a png in photoshop and then changed the file extension to .ico and dropped it on the server no go!

This is for a client. On my home site, I think I member it took a few days to show.. why would this be??

ANy help please!
