php modules and ssh

Hi all, I'm considering migrating over to hostmonster and have a couple questions for those who are familiar with their services.

Firstly, what modules do they offer for use with php? I primarily need gd as my personal site is mostly just an image gallery. Exif and mcrypt would be nice as well though I could always code around them. I assume the most offer the mysql module since they allow mysql use.

Secondly, on the demo site it's unclear if the ssh connection is via some sort of web interface or through a regular ssh connection. I've used various unices for years so I'd prefer to not have to use some Java or what not kludge...plus you can't mount them with fuse.

Finally, since the accounts are presumably on a shared server are they jailed? From a security and privacy standpoint this would be highly desirable.

Thanks for your replies. I've been hosting my site on my own desktop computer/server for years, which is now solely relegated to being a server. The added cost of electricity and the better package from my ISP makes hosting things myself makes this no longer sensible.

Yes, these are all installed.

Yes, all shared accounts are jailed.

I migrated to HM from my own server as well. It's saved me a lot of time and money in the 6 months I've owned the account.
